Der Verein “Historische Mönchszüge – Berg Oybin e.V.” gestaltet seit 1990 jährlich von Mai bis September auf dem Berg Oybin einen “Historischen Mönchszug”. Diese Veranstaltung ist weit über die Grenzen der Oberlausitz bekannt und beruht auf die fast 200jährige Geschichte der hier von 1366 bis 1547 lebenden Cölestinermönche. Inzwischen nutzten bereits viele Gastchöre die Möglichkeit eines gemeinsamen Auftrittes auf dem Berg Oybin in der romantischen Umgebung der ehemaligen Burg- und Klosteranlage. Seit 2006 sind wir in Verbindung mit dem Internationalen Centrum der Cölestinerbewegung in der Stadt L’Aquila. Entsprechend unserer Vereinssatzung möchte unser Verein aktiv bei der Mitgestaltung der Erforschung der Geschichte der Cölestiner in Europa mitwirken. Deswegen haben wir in diesem Jahr eine Vereinsfahrt zu den italienischen Freunden durchgeführt und dort in der Basilika S.Maria de Collemaggio am Mausoleum von Papst Coelestin V. einen Mönchszug gestaltet. Bei diesem Treffen wurde zwischen den italienischen Freunden und unserem Verein ein Partnerschaftsvertrag im Rathaus von L’Aquila unterzeichnet, mit dem wir in die europäischen Cölestinerbewegung integriert wurden.

Vítáme Vás – Historický průvod mnichů na hoře Oybin
Sdružení “Historische Mönchszüge – Berg Oybin e.V. (Historické průvody mnichů – Hora Oybin registrované sdružení)” pořádá od roku 1990 každoročně od května do září každých na hoře Oybin „historický průvod mnichů“. Tato událost je známá daleko za hranicemi Horní Lužice a je založena na téměř 200leté historii mnichů celestinů, kteří zde žili od 1366 do 1547. Doposud již mnoho hostujících sborů využilo možnosti společného vystoupení na hoře Oybin v romantickém prostředí bývalého hradního a klášterního objektu. Od roku 2006 jsme ve spojení s Internationalen Centrum der Cölestinerbewegung (Mezinárodním Centrem Celestinského Hnutí) ve městě L’Aquila. Podle stanovy našeho sdružení chceme aktivně spolupracovat na průzkumu historie celestinů v Evropě. Proto jsme v tomto roce uskutečnili výlet za italskými přáteli a uspořádali tam průvod mnichů v bazilice S. Maria de Collemaggio u mauzolea papeže Celestýna V. Při tomto setkání byla mezi italskými přáteli a naším sdružením v radnici L’Aquila, podepsána smlouva o společném podnikání, čímž jsme byli integrováni do evropského hnutí celestinů.
Na začátku průvodu mnichů pozdraví návštěvníky, kteří se shromáždili na idylicky položeném horském hřbitově, dva mniši. Potom zpívající mniši celestini sejdou dolů z Camery Obscury za fascinujícího osvětlení ve svitu pochodně a z prostoru nad hřbitovem zpívají písně mj. od Mozarta, Beethovena a také sakrální písně. Průvod pokračuje jako procesí přes horský hřbitov, prochází mezi hosty, křížovou chodbou, až na náměstí před císařským domem. Návštěvníci se mohou k průvodu připojit. V průběhu několikrát zazní píseň „Dona nobis pacem“. Dva mniši doprovodí hosty do bývalého klášterního kostela. Tam se koná druhá část programu.
Zde se mohou návštěvníci dozvědět zajímavosti o historii celestinského řádu jakož i o hradu a klášteru Oybin. Po příchodu mnichů opět zažijete zpěv sboru. Zde můžete také slyšet známé sakrální písně, jako „Ave verum“ nebo „Sanctus“. Sbor se s návštěvníky rozloučí kánonem „Dona nobis pacem“. Odchodem mnichů je akce ukončena. Srdečně Vás zveme na tyto akce v romantickém prostředí mezi ruinami hradu a kláštera Oybin. Průvodem mnichů chceme pro naše návštěvníky uspořádat hodinu působivou pro zrak i sluch. Nechte se hýčkat v tomto romantickém prostředí s vybranými díly klasické sborové hudby. Přejeme Vám příjemný a nezapomenutelný večer.
Zajisté mniši celestini v letech, kdy klášter ještě existoval, putovali zpívajíce s pochodněmi přes Oybin, ale určitě ne pro potěšení turistů a milovníků hudby, ale pro vlastní rozvoj. V roce 1366 se na Oybinu objevili první mniši a v roce 1369 začala stavba kláštera. K vysvěcení došlo po 15 letech, v listopadu 1384, pražským arcibiskupem. Téměř 200 let žili mniši podle svých hesla „Ora et labora“ na této hoře. V roce 1547 opustil poslední mnich klášter během reformace a sklonek života strávil v Väterhofu v Žitavě. Klášter byl rozpuštěn a po úderu blesku a následném jednotýdenním požáru byly na Oybinu v roce 1577 všechny budovy zničeny. V roce 1851 to byli přátelé žitavského pěveckého spolku „Liederkranz (pěvecký kroužek)“ a od roku 1883 pěveckého spolku „Liedertafel (mužský pěvecký spolek)“, kteři si na tuto dějinnou epochu vzpomněli a znovu zavedli tuto dobrou tradici průvodů mnichů, která ale bohužel upadla v první světové válce v zapomnění. Později docházelo k ojedinělým, sporadickým akcím, a až oslava 725 let vesnice Oybin v roce 1981 umožnila nový začátek. Postupně se z pěveckých činností členů našeho spolku, který se skládá ze zpěváků pekařského sboru Žitava-Oberseifersdorf, pěveckého spolku Spitzkunnersdorf, národního sboru Oberoderwitz a dalších přátel z okolí, stala pravidelná řada akcí. Welcome – Historical monk processions on Mount Oybin
At the beginning of the monk procession the visitors, who have gathered at the idyllic mountain cemetery, are welcomed by two monks. Then the Celestine monks walk down from the camera obscura to the cemetery, lit by torchlight and singing songs by for example Mozart or Beethoven, as well as sacred songs. The procession then continues across the mountain cemetery, through the group of spectators, down the special covered walkway to the open area in front of the Emperor’s residence. The visitors may join in the procession. The sound of “Dona nobis pacem” rings out repeatedly. Two monks then escort the guests into the former monastery church where the second part of the event takes place. Here the visitors can learn interesting things about the history of the Celestines as well as about the castle and the monastery of Oybin. After the monks have entered the monastery, you can listen to the chant of the choir again. You will again hear famous sacred songs such as “Ave verum” or “Sanctus”. The choir then says goodbye to their visitors with the canon “Dona nobis pacem”. The event is finished when the monks leave. We welcome you most warmly to these events in the romantic surroundings between the ruins of the castle and the monastery of Oybin. With the monk procession we would like to offer our visitors an impressive time for both eyes and ears.Treat yourself to selected pieces of classical choral music in the middle of this romantic scenery. On that note, we wish you a wonderful and exciting evening. In the years the monastery was in operation the Celestine monks certainly made their way, with torches and singing, over the mountain, not to delight tourists or music lovers but for their own edification. The first monks arrived on the mountain in 1366, and in 1369 they began to build the monastery. It was consecrated 15 years later,in November 1384, by the archbishop of Prague.The monks lived on this site, faithful to their motto “Ora et labora,” for almost 200 years. In 1547 the last monk left the monastery during the reformation and spent his last years at the Väterhof in Zittau. The monastery was dissolved, and in 1577 lightning and a week-long fire that followed destroyed all buildings on the mountain. In 1851 it was friends of the Zittau choral society “Liederkranz”, and beginning in 1883 the choral society “Liedertafel”,who recalled this historical era and allowed the monk processions to become a good tradition which, unfortunately, was forgotten in the tumult of World War I. Later, there was a variety of sporadic activities; it was not until the 725th anniversary of Oybin that a new beginning finally became reality. The musicloving activities of the members of our society, a group made up of singers from the Bakermenchoral of Zittau and Oberseifersdorf, the Spitzkunnersdorf Singerunion, the Oderwitz Volkschoral and other friends from the surrounding area, has now matured into a regular series of events.
